Q. What is a land sailer?
A. The best description is “its a three wheeled, wind powered go-cart.”

Q. How difficult is it to land sail?
A. If you sail already it will be very easy, however, if you have no sailing experience, the basics can be learned in less than an hour.

Q. How fast will the Wind Chaser go?
A. Not recommended for speeds over 25 m.p.h.

Q. Where can I sail?
A. On any hard surface of reasonable size; pavement, sand, grass, gravel and dirt.
Optional balloon tires for beach and desert use.

Q. How much space do I need?
A. A large paved area with space enough to turn through all points of the wind.

Q. Who can sail the Wind Chaser?
A. You don't have to be big or strong to land sail. The Wind Chaser will accommodate people as small as 5’2” weighing 100 lbs. and as large as 6’ weighing 200 lbs.

Q. How risky is land sailing?
A. Its not any more risky than cross country bike riding. Wear a helmet. Elbow pads are not a bad idea as well. The Wind Chaser™ may be used in speeds up to 25 m.p.h. Like operating any other vehicle, use common sense and good judgement.

Q. Can the Wind Chaser tip on its side?
A. Yes, it is possible to tip it on its side, but its not that easy to do.

Step 1.
The Wind Chaser laid out and ready for assembly.

Step 2.
Snap wheels into hollow axles, then slide clevis pins into place and lock with hairpin.

Step 3.
Place rear axles with wheel assembly into body, slide in clevis pins and lock with hairpin.

Step 4.
Lift front end of chassis, slide front wheel assembly into position...

Step 5.
Then slide in the clevis pin locking it into place with the hair pin.

Step 6.
Assemble the 4 sections of the mast, slide the sail onto the mast, then seat the mast/sail combination into front wheel assembly/mast holder.

Step 7.
Thread the sail control line through the pulleys tying a figure eight knot at the end of the line to prevent pull out.

Step 8.
Within 10 minutes you are ready to board your Wind Chaser and start the fun!
